Based on Chinese body workouts and yoga. Yin yoga-moves work on parts of the body with the most connective tissue. The effects are primarily targeted on the spine, back muscles and hips. Additionally, the moves done during this class lengthen arm and leg muscles delightfully. Postures are maintained from one to five minutes and the practise focuses on letting go, physically as well as mentally. The opening and relaxing practise of Yin yoga is great for supporting other forms of exercise and helps the body restore. The class is suitable for first timers, those with sedentary jobs, as well as active athletes.
