The biggest health issues in Finland were taken into account while designing the exercises: back and shoulder issues, different fractures, and psychosomatic problems caused by stress. Asahi is based on exercises like those used in physiotherapy, where the whole body is opened up systematically from the neck down to the ankles using the natural flow of your breath. The exercises are intentionally designed to be simple, so that anyone can start to practise Asahi.
